HISTORY

With Craftsman Bungalows and Victorian mansions on quiet streets, The Heights was founded as its own municipality in 1896 and it has never lost its small-town allure. Newly constructed in the architecture of the period, The Loft stands alone behind the original 100 year old residence. There have been only two owners of the property in 100 years. Inside are photos which offer a nodding homage to the original owners, Annie and Fred, who built the original house in 1919. Widowed in her 30’s, Annie never remarried and she lived to be almost 106, she was a remarkable woman!

THE HOTEL ALTERNATIVE

If you are accustomed to a fine home and you require temporary living quarters, there are not very many attractive alternatives.  An Uptown apartment will require a 12 month contract and you will have to provide utilities and furniture.  A hotel suite will cost $400-$500 per day, while The Loft is available for about 1/3 of that cost (minimum one month contract).  The Heights Loft can be occupied immediately.  It is complete to the finest detail and includes weekly housekeeping, all utilities, fine furniture, large washer/dryer, internet 1000, hundreds of cable channels and a complete gourmet kitchen.
